Camera modes

Automatic modes- Auto mode tells the camera to use its best features. It tells the camera to select shutter speed, ISO, aperture, white balance, focus and flash to capture the best picture.

Portrait mode- It works best when taking a picture on a single subject. If shooting want to trigger flash to add a little light onto their face.

Manual mode- You have control over every setting. You get to choose the shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, and the flash.

Program mode- Program mode is like Auto/. It gives you more control over some features including white balace, ISO, and flash.

Shutter priority mode- It is similar to priority mode. When moving subjects you can choose to freeze the motion.

Macro mode- This setting lets you move closer to the subject. Different cameras will have macro modes.

Landscape modes- This mode is the opposite of potrait mode. It is for capturing shots of wide scenes.

Aperuture priority mode- You choose the aperture. The camera chooses the other settings.

Movie made-It extends your camera from capturing still images. This quality is not up to video camera standards.

Sports mode- This is for moving objects. Sports mode freezes the action.

Night mode- Night mode is for shooting in low light situations. It sets up your camera to use a longer shutter speed.
